Garden gets a meal
So ... got 30 bags of 'poo' delivered this morning (about 900 litres) to feed our garden. The whole place (and neighbourhood) smells like a cowshed!
We've got a lot in a while back - grapevines, figs, magnolia, kiwifruit, peas, beans, tomatoes, avocados, rocket, almonds, onions, garlic, artichokes, asparagus, olives, nectarines, apples, pears, etc, etc. Hope it all comes to fruition ... excuse the pun!
We'd like to eat as much as possible out of the garden. Our fruit and veg bill is around $45 each week so anything we can produce helps a lot. Hate to think what it'd cost if we shopped at the supermarket rather than our local F&V!
