When we were in Sydney we went and saw the Craigie Horsfield exhibit at MCA.
This was a stunning show and I was genuinely moved to tears by many of the images.
The irony is that when I visited Documenta X in 1997, one of the few artists who really had an effect on me was Horsfield. At that stage, I rather embarrassingly hadn't heard of him.
As is typical, the catalogue was being sold for a bit over $80 which was a bit outside my price range at the time. Amazon will release the same book on July 1 for the equivalent of just over AUD$60 including postage so I've had to wait that up.
