Pouting....

I was in a pouting mood the other day and penned this to a friend:

I think it has to do with this idea of not knowing how hard or often I should knock on any given door before it gets 'embarassing' and it's time to move to the next one. The problem is that there aren't that many doors to knock on and it's really hard to tell if 'they' have simply got the music on too loud or whether they are hiding in the outhouse!

The analogy really cheered me up...
