Lately I've been listening to quite a bit of Amon Tobin and other 'upbeat' stuff to get me up to speed on a 120mph job I'm working on. Turns me into a keyboard demon!
Hanne Hukkelberg's cover of the Pixies Break My Body has been getting quite a bit of playtime here with her 'latest' album (Rykestrasse 68) being featured a week or so back.
Not so sure about the chorus in the cover of one of the coolest songs of all time but the verses have a very moody feel to them that is quite chilling. The chorus does tend to shock you out of the illusion though.
This is her cover of the Kink's All day and all night. What is it with these Northerners!?
