We are/were fans of the British incarnation and were admittedly sceptical if the Americans could do the series any degree of justice.
We watched the first episode the other night and barring the usual 'setup' stuff that happens at the 'start' of such things it would seem to show promise.
The dressing alone is worth the ... well ... effort.
