At various times I've (gladly) lost myself in archive.org, in particular the Prelinger Archives.
These are mainly US educational films from the 1950s and 1960s and they are all available for CC downloads.
If you can look past the religious fervour, 'Stop Driving Us Crazy' is a nice piece of retro animation with great sounds.
