You might say that we are a bit behind the curve but we have finally got around to working our way through the three seasons of 'Deadwood'. This was offered on special as a box set on JBHiFi back in September. So far we are about 16-17 hours in (since just before Xmas!) and with the exception of the preference in the writing to use 5-6 words as often as vowels, it is genuinely worth the effort and ultimately rewarding. The soliloquy rants of various characters is really Shakespearean. That all said, I am however developing an unhealthy fascination with Calamity Jane.
