Elisa has been tentatively pre-selected by Valerie Kirk to exhibit at the 18th Fibre Textile Biennale in Tamworth. This opens in November 2008 and then tours Australia through to late 2010*.
I stumbled across this old interview with Valerie Kirk from late last year. It gives a bit of an outline of the Biennale as well as looks at the balance between utilitarian and high-art textile-based creations.
We'll likely fly over for it... I imagine that I'll find more than enough photographically in a dusty country town to keep me amused!
