They are surely having a laugh...

We went for a walk tonight and were struck with how many street names we saw that were beyond painful or would involve spelling them constantly out.

We live in a street with a name that phonetically is beyond 'most' and it annoys me to tears that I have to go through that whole process each time we need to complete a form on the phone or in a shop.

You have to wonder if the town planners are sitting in some small room thinking 'how can we f$#k with the heads of people in this street?... What about calling it Heysham Bend, Clitheroe Way or Brohard Road? That will surely work!'
